Until January 31, 2016 You have the opportunity to visit theexposition Ignacio Zuloaga and Manuel de Falla, story of a friendship, at CentroCentro cultural center of the Cibeles Palace, in Madrid.

This exposition Review the relationship of friendship and professional collaboration between Zuloaga and Failure between 1913 and 1939.

You can sample it visit for free on the fifth floor of the current headquarters building of City of Madrid, in the Plaza de Cibeles, and in it you can see up to one hundred pieces among letters, photographs, newspapers, drawings and paintings.

To highlight the thirty pictorial works of Ignacio Zuloaga, among those foundLolita, Carnation Nude, View of Toledo, The Cardinal and the portraits ofOrtega y Gasset and Manuel de Falla.

In it you can also see works by Picasso, Hermenegildo Lanz and Eugenio Lucas Velázquez, among other artists.

The friendship relationship between Zuloaga and Failure It started in 1910, but it was in 1913 when the composer asked Zuloaga help for the staging of his work Short life.

Then they agreed in several cities over the next two decades, and finally in 1928 they collaborated on a large common project, The altarpiece of Maese Pedro, in the Paris Comic Opera, representation in which both were respectively music and stage directors.

The schedules to visit the exhibition of Zuloaga and Falla in CenterCenter of the Cibeles Palace they are, from Tuesday to Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., with Mondays and holidays December 24, 25 and 31 and January 1 and 6.
